Singapore keeps reinventing itself — and 2026 has a genuinely impressive lineup of new and recently opened attractions worth adding to your itinerary. Some are completely new, some are major expansions of existing favourites, and one you should know about before it's too late. 1. Jurassic World: The Experience at Cloud Forest 🦕

Where: Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay
Hours: 9am – 9pm daily (last admission 8pm)

This is the one you cannot skip. Jurassic World: The Experience is an immersive walk-through exhibition set inside the iconic mist-shrouded Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay, and it is genuinely one of the most impressive things Singapore has added to its attraction lineup in years.

The experience features zones for visitors to explore, with highlights including an awe-inspiring 8.5-meter-tall Brachiosaurus, a face-to-face moment with the fearsome Tyrannosaurus rex, and baby dinosaurs making surprise appearances around the garden pathways.

This is my second visit and I was still amazed the entire time — the dinosaurs look and feel incredibly real. Every zone has photo and video opportunities, and the whole experience is set against the Cloud Forest's existing 30-metre indoor waterfall and 72,000 plants, many of which have lineages that actually date back to the Jurassic period.

The standout moment: coming face-to-face with Blue the Velociraptor — the raptor from the movie series. Worth visiting for that alone.

⚠️ Heads up: The Cloud Forest has scheduled monthly maintenance closures. The next closure is October 26, 2026. Check the official Gardens by the Bay website before you go.

💡 Pro Tip: Buy tickets online in advance — visitors can only purchase on-day tickets for onsite purchase, meaning same-day walk-in tickets are limited. Book ahead to guarantee your preferred date.

2. Singapore Oceanarium (The New S.E.A. Aquarium) 🌊🐠

Where: Resorts World Sentosa
Hours: 10am – 7pm daily

If you've been to Singapore before and visited the old S.E.A. Aquarium — this is a completely different experience now.

In 2025, the much-loved S.E.A. Aquarium on Sentosa closed for a major rebuild and reopened as the Singapore Oceanarium — three times larger, with 22 themed zones, new deep-sea galleries and a stronger focus on marine science and conservation, while keeping the spectacular giant tank that made the original famous.

The reimagined marine life park now has 22 themed zones and new marine species. The exhibits are highly interactive — even as an adult I found myself completely absorbed. With kids, this place is going to be next level. Very engaging, very well laid out, and the scale of it now is something the old S.E.A. Aquarium couldn't match.

Being fully indoor and air-conditioned also makes it one of the best Singapore attractions to visit during midday heat or when it rains.

3. Universal Studios Singapore — Now with Minion Land 🍌🎢

Where: Resorts World Sentosa

Universal Studios Singapore isn't new — but it just got a brand new area worth the revisit: Minion Land opened last year and adds a whole section dedicated to the Minions universe.

Cute displays everywhere, Minion-themed food, rides suitable for all ages including smaller kids, and an infectious energy that makes you feel genuinely young again. It's the kind of place where you're grinning without realizing it. Great for families, and honestly a lot of fun even without kids.

If you haven't been to USS in a while — or if the kids haven't seen the new area — this is the reason to go back.

4. Harry Potter: Visions of Magic 🧙‍♂️⚡

Where: RWS The Forum, Level B1, Resorts World Sentosa

This one is uniquely different from any other Harry Potter experience in the world — and I mean that in a very specific way.

Harry Potter: Visions of Magic offers 10 environments, with two exclusive to Singapore, allowing you to explore iconic locations and uncover hidden secrets.

What makes it stand out vs the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Japan: here, you are the wizard. The experience is interactive — you're not watching the story from the outside, you're inside it. It feels genuinely immersive in a way that traditional studio tours don't. Every room pulls you deeper in, and the two Singapore-exclusive environments make it feel like something built specifically for this destination.

Feeling like you have actual magic powers the entire time is an underrated travel experience. Book this one.

5. Floral Fantasy — Disney Garden of Wonder 🌸🌺

Where: Floral Fantasy, Gardens by the Bay

A quick honest note on this one: the Disney Garden of Wonder collaboration at Floral Fantasy — which featured Disney and Pixar character topiaries including Mickey Mouse, Stitch, Ariel, and more. We walked past the area during our visit but didn't make it inside, and yes — I regret it. 

If you're visiting now, the Disney Garden of Wonder has ended its run. But Floral Fantasy itself is still worth visiting — it's a beautiful floral garden inside Gardens by the Bay with rotating themed displays. Keep an eye on the official Gardens by the Bay website for what's currently showing, because the rotating exhibitions here are consistently impressive.
